My Story

For as long as I can remember, I've been a storyteller. Although my favorite shows as a child were the Oprah Winfrey Show, 20/20 and 48 Hours, I didn't realize I wanted to be a journalist until my second year of undergrad. I've since been published in dozens of publications including magazines and newspapers, both in print and digital. I have experience writing for a broad range of topics, but I'm especially interested in social justice issues. I'm currently a graduate student at Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism, one of the best journalism schools in the country.
